 Tanya Gayle Parks, of Duncan, Oklahoma, was born October 24, 1953 in Norfolk, Virginia to Lindy Gene and Dorris Marie (Nichols) Houck. She passed away on March 15, 2023 at her home at the age of 69.
There are no services planned at this time. Arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and granddaughter, Cadence Mickele Balentine.
Tanya is survived by her three children: Jennifer and husband Ricky Balentine of Duncan, Erica and husband Jay Storm of Blanchard, Justin and wife Dede Parks of Duncan; grandchildren: Chandler Anthony Storm, Emaleigh Renae Parks, Gracyn Olivia Storm, Raylen Ann Parks, Cason Cummings Balentine, Blakely Jae Storm, and Jake Rocky Parks; sister: Sabrina Houck; brother: Brad Houck.

Tonya was my 2nd cousin however I never respected her as family which I know she would have appreciated or perhaps as like a sister which I didn't have. I'm so sorry Tonya, I wish I could have know you better. I know your were special.
