Wayland Lee McPherson passed away on May 31, 1997 at age 43in Phoenix, Arizona. There is no listed cause of death. He was buried in National Memorial Cemetery Of Arizona Section 45 Site 2451, Phoenix, Az. He was born on February 13, 1954.

McPherson was born on February 13, 1954 and graduated from Pampa High School in 1972.  He was a Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force and served in Vietnam.

His brother, Garland McPherson died in 2003.  Step-Dad John Organ.  He was an Eagle Scout.
