Johnny Norvin Johnson
Johnny Norvin Johnson, 33, of Wichita Falls, was one of two passengers killed in a one vehicle roll-over near Electra, Texas on August 8,1986. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, August 11, at Our Lady, Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Wichita Falls. Graveside services will then be held at 5 p.m. at Fairview Cemetery, Pampa, Texas, with the Rev. Gary Sides, pastor of St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church of Pampa, officiating. Burial will be by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.
Born October 3, 1952 in Pampa, Johnny moved to Wichita Falls two years ago and was an employee of Texaco. He attended Pampa schools and graduated from Pampa High School in 1972. He married Janelle Joy Bevel on June 21, 1975 in Pampa.
Survivors include his wife, Janelle Bevel Johnson; two daughters, Laura Ann and Jodie Marie, of the home; his parents, Peggy and Homer Johnson of Levelland; sister, Melissa Johnson, grandfather, Marvin Lake of Odessa, parents-in-law Loran and Martha Bevel, sister-in-law Linda, and brother-in-law Tommy.

Danny McCaskill
Johnny was a fine person. I spent the 1st two years after PHS kicking around central, southeast, and of course TOP of Texas with him. We had some great times. He had a wonderful family who I became very close to. He loved life, friends and family.He nicknamed me "Dan Dan" and I called him "John John".
RIP my friend John John.

Johnny was such a sweet--considerate friend in high school---he would give you the shirt off his back. If you couldn't find anything to do, you could always go hang out @ Johnny's house--and you never knew who you see there---he made everyone feel welcome. Thoughts and Prayers
