Curtis Don Peercy, 59, died August 11, 2013 in Amarillo. Memorial graveside services will be at 10:00 AM Friday, August 16, 2013 at Memory Gardens Cemetery, with Rev. Richard Bartel, associate pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.Mr. Peercy was born April 29, 1954 in Borger to Jack and Reba Peercy. He received an Associate?s Degree in psychology in May of 2013 from Clarendon College in Pampa. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, and was an active member of Alcoholics Anonymous. Curtis was a loving father and grandfather and will be truly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack Peercy and Reba Trimble, and a brother, Toby Peercy. Survivors include his wife, Kelly Peercy of Dickinson, two daughters, Cassie Viechec and husband David of Pensacola, Florida, and Shonda Boyd of Amarillo, a son, Randy Peercy of Hazelton, Pennsylvania, a sister, Jana Brown and husband Dwain of Roswell, New Mexico, five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society, c/o Gerry Caylor, 2130 Charles, Pampa, Texas 79065, or VA Hospice.The family will receive friends at 1100 N.
